Tooele Country Dancing

Come dance in Tooele County. Doors and lessons start at 5 PM. The evening opens with about thirty minutes of beginner line and partner dance instruction, so you do not need to know how already. After that we open the floor and dance to recorded music until 8:45. Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring the whole family.

Who it is for

This one is for ages 16 and up. Bring an ID, since we check at the door. If you are under 18 you are welcome to come on your own, but a parent or guardian needs to handle your ride there and your pickup after.

Tickets

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. The advance price is the pre-sale link on this page.

All sales are final, so please be sure of your plans before you buy. If we have to cancel or move the date, you choose between a full refund or a ticket to the new date. You are welcome to give your ticket to someone else, but please do not resell it above face value. Tickets that look duplicated or altered will not be honored.

A few house rules

No alcohol at this event or anywhere on the property. Anyone who seems impaired will not be let in, and there is no refund for that.

Come ready to have a good time and let everyone else have one too. We ask you to treat the other dancers, the instructors, the staff, and the vendors with respect. Anyone who is disruptive, unsafe, or harassing will be asked to leave, with no refund.

Getting in

Check in at the table by the main entrance. We keep a head count for safety, so if the building reaches capacity we may pause admission for a while. If you step out during the night, check back in at the same table when you return.

Good to know

Dancing is a physical activity and it carries some risk. Slips, falls, and collisions happen. You are choosing to take part, so you come at your own risk and you know your own limits. We keep a first aid kit at the check-in table and we call 911 for anything medical. There are no medical staff on site.

We take photos and video and may use them to promote future dances, including on social media. If you would rather not be in them, tell us at check-in and we will do our best to keep you out of frame.

Any food, drink, or merchandise vendors are their own businesses, running under their own permits. What you buy from them is between you and them, and we cannot refund it. Please keep your belongings with you. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
